I’ve always liked the classic circle alloys, but these O.Z.s look fantastic.

I have no more space! And I need something with RWD for a change :)

Haha aye space is at a premium. I know someone selling a supra that needs some (okay a lot) of TLC if you want RWD... It only needs a full respray, front and rear bumpers, full service, wheels, brakes, tyres, interior repairs... It’s a complete shed haha.

I’m lucky that I have no space left. There’s a 3.0 with the aero kit on Autotrader for £4.8k

I have an empty driveway, I street park whichever car I bring home from the yard. As long as my dogs don’t mind :)

When I have the time, space, and money in my life for something dumb that doesn’t ever run but looks and sounds pretty I’m must have a mid-80s GTV6. Being American they aren’t all that common but I’ve heard one in person one time and that was enough. I need a Busso in my life.

4 and I think he said £2k last time I saw him but I imagine he’d take a more realistic offer. The engine and gearbox (auto) are solid I believe but itd be a big project. Has been chavved up in its past.

It’s not black is it? With a Veilside kit? I’ve seen one around and it’s a right tub.

Get a v6! I guarantee you won't regret it and if you need a hand with any engine bits ive probably done them before so can help :)

Ah that’s a killer. I’ve run out of space too, otherwise there’s a 750 quid gt6 project on ebay that looks really ratty but comes with a spare shell that i could use for my GT16v project and part out the rest to make my money back.
Actually money too on that front...

Oooh no I was in the red long before that :)
The 99p MGB’s actually turned a profit! Even considering that I paid £120 for the rest of the stuff I’m up to £140 on the bits I’ve sold, and I haven’t even got to things like the front suspension & subframe, engine, gearbox and back axle :)

how hard is a v6 turbo of these to find?
also they are FWD but do they handle well for a car like that?

If those wheels were at least an inch smaller in diameter they’d be perfect.
And yes, I’ve always felt the GTV was quite the looker.

1. Depends on where you are, it’s a tax-dodge so was only sold in Italy (and maybe a couple of other places, I dunno). Most V6s are the NA ones - 3.0 or 3.2
2. Yes, but the V6 is quite nose heavy.

If ‘over here’ means in the UK, yes. Up North near Newcastle.

The reason why the v6 turbo interests me is that I live in the US so my only opportunity at these cars any time soon will be the early ones that have like 190hp or so. I think the 200hp turbo v6 that I can tune would be more fun.

Course they’re not. They’re composed mainly of rust and that’s cheap.

Yes rust does have it’s benefits. Cheaper and lighter than carbon fibre.
